my 6 sites was on top ranks, now bad, and 3 site gone?

not sure what happend, but google must have changed it's software at some time. For years, my sites have always ranked well. My stats program would show tons of hits from google. Now nothing comes from google. Still good in many other search Engines. I have not changed anything in the sites. The sites are constructed with solid shtml. Good meta tags, relivant to the content in the boby. There sites are hosted on a Plesk VPS. 2 sites were listed and are now completely gone. I search google for the 2 URLs and nothing? I also run a Ventrilo server and a TeamSpeak server on the VPS. And sometimes I run a Counter Strike game server for a few hours here and there.

I just started a new gameing web site, <snip>, and it got on google, but then was gone the next day? Why would it get listed for 1 day, then get droped? This site has about 175 pages at current, but I estimate it to have close to 10,000 pages or more when complete. I realy need google to list this site and the otheres. I do not spam, or use any tricks to get in, just solid html, shtml, and some cgi like headers, footers, forums, photo gallery scrips and so on. Are header and footer scrips still OK?

Anyway, what am I doing wrong?

Does all or some of your web sites link to each other? If so, this could cause the web sites to get banned or penalized. If you link to any web sites, you should check them for spam. Meta tags don't mean much, if anything to the major search engines. Header and footer scripts are ok, Google doesn't even know your using scripts like that most of the time.
