My question is simple – i have a web site and in the index page I have some key words placed with the VISIBILITY: hidden attribute.

Can anyone tell me if this could cause me any problems in the future with google?

Most likely there will be issues to contend with. It won't be an automated process. Someone at some point will most likely file a quality report on your site at which time it may get flagged for a manual review.

I'm sure the major search engines are working on ways to detect CSS abuse. It's just a matter of time before all those hidden things begin to get flagged automatically.
