One of our site want to change is domain name from www.zzz.name.com to www.zz.com, the old one has very good PR, but the domaion is not good, so we buy a new one.
Now what should we do so that we can keep its PR and let google sipder its' pages quickly?
The plan we thought is:
1 Keep the old site for one month or more, and upload the same files to the new domain name server.
2 On the old site has a note let users know we have changed the site domain name
3 rewrite the old url to the new one, and keep it for one month
4 delete the old url and the files.
Does our plan can help us to keep the pages'PR and let googlebot spider deeply and quickly?
Thanks for your and advise.
