I'd suggest checking the search preferences, especially if you have it restricted to something (like UK-only). It might also be possible that Google thinks that your work or home IP is not based in the UK and shows you differently geo-targeted results.
I have done this already. In fact I copied not just the query string but the whole URL and sent it to work ISP in real time where a work colleague confirmed that the site was not there. Google does show deferent results on some ISP’s.
Thats the one you optimise for ..if you are in Germany and want Germans to buy from you cos they found you on page one ..
some ISP's actually run your service from outside of your country ..
extrapolate ..
It is even more complicated than physical location of server. I have a .com site but that is unaffected by geo both ISPs. (but it does not show in "pages from the uk" on both because it not physically in the uk).

Can't see how that works!
Just ran a tracert on google.co.uk and it went to 66.102.9.99 and I am on NTL. My mate 40 miles away is on BT. Asked him to do the same trace and it brought the same result.
They may take different routes, but they always end up at the same place don't they? It's up to Google to point to a DC based on the domain typed in, not the ISP surely.
Would only bring different results if you are physically typing in IP numbers in my view.
Sorry, can't understand.
Happy to be proved wrong on this.
my site is no3 on NTL at home and no.14 on ntl at work (6 miles away) is it possible they are able to geo-locate locally as my site appears for "blue widgets town" with the town being where my NTL connection routes through? my work one seems to go through a connection down south....
