Online classified syndicate: good deal or risky neighborhood?

Would Google penalize me even though offered via Adwords?

I'm promoting a new ecommerce site.
Thanks to WebmasterWorld, I know to avoid link farms. How about the riskiness of a company that offers to place your ad in thousands of online classified ad sites? Does this sound like a potentially bad neighborhood?

Also, what of the fact that the company advertises through Adwords? Would Google advertize a company then drop all their clients from their index?

Be real careful with that one. Google Adwords play by their own rules. It is their search engine and are exempt from any such penalities.

I have seen many sites using Google Adwords in which they are able to advertise with Google Adwords when in fact their site has hit several filter penalities and in some cases even banned.

Stay away from these types of links. Especially with the new Jagger update.
