I hand make make 2 products, built my own site, sold successfully with p2-3 results for last couple years --now on p.25 and 40. Wouldn't know how to cheat if I wanted to, but do have 100 or so recips handmade with mostly relevent partners. I also have a customer list of several 100, and know a few other similar tiny web site owners in same dumps as me right now. Why not write our customers and explain the mess, and suggest they use Wisenut or Vivisomo or the like. From my vantage point it's obvious G is doing this to increase ad revenue, and it's at odds with their mandate; an obvious conflict of interest, but a great business plan: give the folks great results for the 5/6 ths of the year when people buy 1/2 of what they buy, and skunk the results to force the buying and clicking of ads during the holiday season when many businesses sell over half their goods.It'd at least beat tearing out our hair at the daily SERP massacre!
