Out Of The Sandbox!

OK, I'm trying to stay calm - but after 18 months of waiting, yesterday I came out of the sandbox - so for all of you out there who have given up hope of ever seeing an end to the wilderness - Don't!

Since April 04 I have been on about page 100 in Google for my main keyword phrase (while being on page 1 in MSN and Yahoo) - about 24 hours ago I jumped up to being midway down page 2 :-)

I haven't done anything except kept a clean, quality site - steadily gained inbound links (about 50% of them one way, the other 50% recips) - and been patient!

Too early to say exactly what effect it will have on traffic, but early estimates suggest about a 5x increase in Google referrals - that will probably be a 20x increase once I'm on page 1 of the serps :-)
