It seems that anything with .99 at the end is doing just fine. Check out 66.102.9.99

lee, seeing the same results,

results in UK were better earlier today than the data centre im seeing now imo

looks like a few directory type sites have slipped back in i guess due to the age knob being turned up or something?

Anyway, will see how this settles.

This update overall is certainly an improvement if todays results or something similar stick.

If all the sites that have fallen back return to where they were before the update it will have been a pointless effort updating the SERPS for this next quarter!

Ok according to matt cutts blog this is now in final stage with Jagger 3 going out now. For me its been not a great update but the communication about what was happening and the sense of humour about it was nice to see.

I would be interested to know if some sites were assigned trusted by human review "the infamous trustrank". This would be my only gripe as google have already descovered by the behaviour of other search engines that trusted sites can misbehave just as much as anyone else.

Anyway great forum brett apart from the bloody cats.

66.102.9.99 is currently showing the results that I've personally dubbed Jagger 3. In my sector, these results are different, and better than IMO, pre-Jagger, Jagger 1 and Jagger 2. [66.102.9.104...] is also still showing these results. I got a little burnt out on DC watching today, so I'm not sure where else these results are turning up. These same results have been moving around from DC to DC today.

"but the communication about what was happening and the sense of humour about it was nice to see. "

I gotta second that.

Cheers Dayo_UK, Reseller and everyone else.

Agreed they are better results. The geo targeting I think is playing a large part in this algo and as the google redirecting doesn't work for instance on firefox I think its a bad index and in generall bad set of results as anyone outside of us with a .com got whacked.

I believe the 'I’m off to bed, but Jagger3 is coming along.' post from Matt was from this morning.

mcdar is showing pretty much all consistent results on my end for all datacenters.

Perhaps this is it.

If so, our site did VERY well. Returning to the top 5 for several keyphrases.

Crossing fingers that the ride is over for now.
