Someone help me here as i am now starting to go slighty mad.
My sites index page has not been updated since around august 30 this year.
I have been through the site with a fine tooth comb and tidied all coding.
what i need to know is a step by step guide to checking your site, from checking server headers to hosts and right the way through.
i really to get to the bottom of what has happened to my site.
google is visiting the site 1 to 2 times per day, and looking at the index page and robots page, so whats going on?

Check all the titles and descriptions are different for every page.

.

Check your HTML coding at: [validator.w3.org...] and your CSS too [jigsaw.w3.org...]

This could be serious [validator.w3.org].

.

Check all your internal linking using Xenu LinkSleuth or similar program.

.

Make sure that non-www redirects to www for all pages of the site, and that it is a 301 redirect. Use WebBug or the Live HTTP Headers Extension for Mozilla for doing that.

You have some corrupted characters in your content.

Click the link and read the error message.
