I'm still top ranked for my main keywords in all DCs I've checked, but have lost tons of longer key phrases that apparently made up for a good bit of my G traffic.

Who else has this happened to and does anyone have any idea why?

spaceylacie; exact same problem here. I suspect it something to do with many of my internal pages going "url only".

Also noticed that 'related:www.domain.co.uk' no longer works on my site, which has done for years. I suspect some missing/ incomplete data OR perhaps I need to look into Trust Rank.

Thing is index page still ranks well for what I thought were the big money terms. Shows how wrong you can be.

I am seeing the opposite: a gradual increase in searches for multiple keywords, but searches (and SERPs) for generic keywords don't change much.

I believe that different algos, with different synchronizations, are applied in each case.
For example (thinking out loud now), Hilltop and Trustrank could be more weighted in case of generic searches, and LSI and Pagerank could be more important for specific searches.
HT and TR depend more on pre-processing, hence their effects are seen less often. LSI and PR can be fine-tuned easierly, causing the so-called everflux.
