Google often takes time - with the recent 'Jagger' update, I am finally getting into the top 10 listings, but it took me 8 months. Just forget about Google for a while, try to develop traffic from forums and other pages. MSN and Yahoo are usually quicker to update. There is much talk of a 'sandbox' where Google puts new sites - it takes time to get out of the sandbox and get good rankings.

For my site, traffic from Google was 1/3 of the traffic from MSN. Now it is 2x more. And traffic from search engines are still a small percent of my traffic (<10%).
