Problem with Google Alerts

My usual 10 a day is now zero

I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I rely on google alerts as an easy way for me to read the news in my niches on the train into my office.

I usually get at least 8 alerts a day, sometimes as many as 20. Today, for the first time, none.

It's not an email problem, and there's plenty of news around when I search my terms direct on Google News.

No problems here; we are getting the same number as usual in several different subject areas.

[Frequent]

No problems here, other than my alerts produced far fewer results than usual.

Perhaps the spiders are resting up for a huge crawl.
