3. Why not ask the publishers for persmission regarding Google Print?

I think the list is bigger but these came to my mind

Google is generous because, most of the time, he uses this power and control wisely. But this is not an excuse.

This is my overview of Google. I am just a newbie but seeing how many things G can do very well, I ask myself why not fix them?. That leaves one option : they don't want to. Why? PLease express opinions

There's another possible reason -- fixing them may well be a major challenge. It could create more problems than it solves.

Because a search engine's job is to index publicly accessible pages on the World Wide Web. (It isn't Google's fault if some people don't understand the difference between the Internet and an intranet.)

2. Why does it take all your Adsense money if they can detect wich clicks are fraud?

Because the threat of punishment is the only way to keep some people honest.

3. Why not ask the publishers for persmission regarding Google Print?

Because Google's copyright lawyers believed that the Google Print scheme was "fair use" (as it may well be; it's a bit early to be second-guessing the courts).

At this point, it might be better deemed "guessing" or "first-guessing"... "predicting"? - unless I missed a court ruling.
