Homepage not showing up for certain terms?

I have a site which does fairly well for competitive terms for sometime now.

However I woke up this morning and found out that my homepage just "droped" from Google for some specific keywords!

What is this all about am I victim of a Google glitch or is this a 302 hijack...how can I know?

Do you mean it's not in the top 1,000 results?

Yep that's exactly what I mean, my sub-pages show as usual within the 1000's but my homepage disapeared.
Actually it seems to be back now on all DC but believe me I had like a heart attack!
