Just wondering when can we expect the next PageRank and backlinks update?

There are many of us who have been working hard since last update and would like to have an idea when we can see results from our hard work in regards to a new PageRank and Backlink update.

How often does this occurr?

There is no schedule. But understand that REAL page rank and REAL backlinks are being updated continually. Just because Google doesn't show a new number on the toolbar or the link: operator doesn't mean they aren't using the data. They definitely are, both for you and for your competition, and long before you see it in a report.

So because I do not see the effects of my hard work that must only mean one thing. I am still sandboxed, right?

Apparently there is no other explaination as to why no ranking on google what so ever. I am indexed but not ranked anywhere.

Plus I know for a fact I now have many more inbound links and quality links pointing to my site than many of my competitors but yet they rank much better.

The only differece is my site is going on 6 months old while my competitors several years.

Any opinions.

Thanks!

Following are the most recent PR updates:

July 14, 05
April 22, 05
Jan 01, 05
Oct 06, 04

From this observation you can see they are every 3-4 months. We are almost at the 3 month mark from last update so it should occur soon.

Re backlink updates --they occur more frequently, from every 2 to 7 weeks.

There are several good sites on the internet keeping track of these updates.

Yep, it sounds like it. I've clients in the same boat, and the wait can be excruciating.
