My site seems to finally been released from the sandbox and now is within the top 20 sites out of 13,400,000 for the particular keywords. Is there a way estimate the traffic from that?

Estimating traffic on the basis of positions is always dodgey and never really accurate.
You should just keep an eye on your traffic levels and try and predict growth from that. If you chart your traffic and tie in spikes with events you know took place you will get a clearer picture.
I know where you are comming from though, clients often ask for predictions, so if you absolutely have to, predict low and beat their expectations.
