duplicate content?

Hi,

Our site has a "press kit" set of pages to allow journalists easy access to information. A lot of this is identical content to stuff on "regular" pages.

1) Will google penalize me for having identical content?
2) Should I just exclude bots from the press kit pages in my robots.txt file?
