I'm not sure "Google Fusion" will be enough to drag me away from Yahoo. I've grown accustomed to Yahoo's portal since 1997. And maybe they'll change it with "Y.com" -- or whatever Yahoo's doing with its new email interface.
Ask Jeeves might want to get its act together and rebrand Bloglines so that ppl actually know its part of their company. MyJeeves seems pretty 1999-retro. Maybe when they get rid of the butler, MyJeeves will get folded into the Bloglines interface somehow.
I haven't used AOL much ... only when my retired parents can't figure out how to turn off some annoying AOL pop-up. Maybe MSN will absorb AOL. That'll be an interesting twist to the history of Netscape.
I wonder why Apple doesn't have a better portal thing. Imagine the power of an web-based itunes-compatible portal...
