Google Sitemap-URL Unreachable

My site map is okayed but the verify stats gives an error as "Unreachable"

Hi,

My site map is okayed but the verify stats gives an error as "URL Unreachable" - Google encountered an error when trying to access this URL. We may have encountered a DNS error or timeout, for instance. Your server may have been down or busy when we tried to access the page.

I don't know what is the problem and how to fix this. Any help would be appreciable, please answer on this little urgently...

it seems that ONE of your URLs is unreachable - you should see which URL is reporting this message and test it yourself. I have a sitemap with 1000's of URLs and get this for a couple of the URLs that are indeed messed up somehow.
