Google Search Box

Hi,

I was wondering whether GOOGLE has a search box (except the one we use in Adwords)
just like overture, where we can get monthly update as to which words are searched more.

Also I have heard a lot about the Google Update or Google Dance. We had Florida, Austin.

What is the latest Google Update and what are the changes done in the algo.

Can somebody throw some light.
