site penalize , what shd I do

I was sucked into buying one of those script to quickly build websites and make $ via adsense. It was doing fine initially, but now most of the sites have been penalize bcos of dup contents etc .. but still getting a little traffic from Y and M ..

But I really want to do this biz seriouslly and long term, I wd appreciate your advice:

Most of my sites are not on the index where I search for site:mysite.com , shd I get new domains and start a new site , or shd I redo the old domain , and ask G to reconsider?

It sounds like you did not invest alot into your sites. I would just walk away and start with new sites that has no penalty. Let your old sites remain if the money from Yahoo and MSN can cover the hosting.

If you can figure out what Google didn't like about your automated site, fix it and just start rolling out new sites. It is a simple business decision - Can you launch a new site and make a profit before it gets banned in Google? If you can then go black hat. If you can't then it is time to start working on a nice clean white hat site.

What kind of script is that?
What kind of website could be quickly be made with a script? Unless you're talking about templates, like those for dating, classifieds, etc.

I think he is talking about one of those scripts that randomly generate psuedo sentance structures, lots of them, to fill up a page.

If this was the case I would try to find something else to do * instead of building web pages. This should actually prohibited by some international law :-)

* = Maybe building or making some totally useless gadget that nobody wants. Anyway itīs the same as building totally useless pages nobody wants to read - not even the search engines!

Not all generator scripts are bad, there are some pretty good scripts. Besides there is nothing wrong with building poor quality pages. If these pages rank high in the serps then it helps search engines identify the weaknesses with their algorithms.

Dzman I would ditch the existing domains and start again. How much do you know about web design, etc? If you are new to the business, I would suggest starting at the beginning and learning about HTML and web standards, etc. From there start off small and make a few sites about things you know about (eg, hobbies, etc).

That knowledge and experience will help you go onto more advanced business ventures later on.
