Site map from .htm to .asp

is this a good or bad idea.

I am looking into .asp page site maps. Do they cause problems for the bots?

Up until now I have always created static .htm site maps.

use asapi to make the links look static

OddDog: We have always used .asp for our site maps and Google has always gobbled them up. Just make sure that you're not passing lots of variables in the URL.
