Google splitting results

As anybody noticed Goolge splitting results on the home page.

This is a difficult one to explain byt type in "scales" and check out the results have way down the page Google splits the results and displays the following message

"See results for: guitar scales"

It then show's some internal pages then goes back to showing index pages.

What do you make of this?
