Google News RSS and Atom feeds?

Is this a new feature?

I am excited to see that Google now has links for RSS and Atom feeds for all their News SERPS. I've been using something called voidstar to generate RSS feeds off of Google's SERPS until now, and this makes things much, much easier.

Is this a new feature that they quietly put out, or did I miss something?

Its relatively new, came out last week or so.

anyone else think that Google's implementation of RSS news isn't actually as good as voidstar's..? Usually, when Google takes a long time to release a feature, the feature is a step ahead of what's already out there. In this case, it looks like GnewsRSS is a step behind. Just my opinion.
