Can't figure google

My question may sound trivial for SEO experts but I am mostly programmer trying to luch a few successful sites w/out spending a fortune on marketing.

I opened a site about two monts ago. It is in bulgarian language. lots of sites in bulgarian language enjoy pretty good traffic coming from google when visitors are searching in cyrillic alphabet - not mine. It has page rank 0 and I have obtained links from a few good sites.
What intrigues me is the following fact:
when I do google search: "link:mysite" I get "your search did not match any documents"

then when I do search "cache:pagewhichlinkstomystie" I can see that pages was cached by google just today and contains a link directly pointing to my site.
And this is so with at least three different sites linking to my stie.
Does anybody have a good explanation for this?

I am not using robot.txt but I don't thing that is a problem. Also googlebot hit 14 times on my site (which I know isn't much) yesterday but doesn't crawl more than one level deeper than the home page and didn't even update the cache for some pages which were changed. I am just wondering how to make the crawler hit on more links on the site.

I will appreciate any suggestions.
