How Quickly Can I Add New Pages ..

.. without having a problem with the SEs?

I have a 5 year old content rich site [site#1] that is doing okay and has about 400 pages. I tried another site [site#2], also content rich, that has about 200 pages on the same general subject, but is not duplicate content.

Various problems with the newer [site#2] have made me decide to combine the non-overlapping content of [site#2] into [site#1], putting some of it in a new directory and distributing other pages to existing directories which are appropriate. I think the non-overlapping content would be about 160 pages.

I would remove the contents of [site#2] entirely and put up a redirect to the newly created directory on [site#1].

What I'm wondering is how many pages I can add to the site [site#1] and at what intervals, without getting re-sandboxed.
