Hi

I have recently put up 3/4 new websites. Google came along and pick up the index page but as yet has not included any other page (over a month now).

Normally after it picks up the index page with a week it has indexed the other 10 pages but for some reason it still hasn't. Google has crawled all the other pages but still nothing.

Is there a reason for this? Am I doing something wrong? Also Yahoo has crawled the sites but the bandwidth in my stats says 0 bandwidth used for the Yahoo bot.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Am having the same thing happen - it's been 6 weeks now, the index page has been in Google within the first 48 hours and is spidered daily. Just this morning have googlebot just a chugging through the attached pages. Hope to see them up in a few days. Quite different from the old days!

Try using the Google Sitemaps (this is different from the typical sitemap that you put on the site for visitors).

Also try and get a few links to the internal pages.

Done both those at the 6 weeks ago. The attached pages are just now being spidered - googlebot has hit the sitemap on a daily basis as well. Just need patience for anything new nowadays.

They can decline a duplicate or a near duplicate page, however it all depends upon different factors adopted by google. However a fresh content can be obtained even after changing the anchor text of links pointing to a page.

A new page on an old site may score higher than an equally new page that resides on a new site, normally they consider the average age of all pages on a site.
