Our site’s home page has a PR4 according to the Google Toolbar but according to the Google dir we have no PR.

We have been listed in DZOM and Google dir for more than 3 months now. I do realize that the toolbar is not very reliable and that the dir a better indication.

The problem is that we never had a PR in the dir. It did not go from 4 and then suddenly to 0.

Our site was also hit hard on June 16 and has no recovered since.

Anybody has some insight in this and is it something we should worry about?

A while back I noticed that the dir PR seemed to change more often than the toolbar - which led me to beleive that perhaps the dir PR is more up to date. So perhaps your site has lost it's PR.
An other option may be that the dir PR is buggy!
Nobody but google really knows for sure.

Is your DMOZ listing (and, therefore, Google directory listing) pointing to your home page... or elsewhere in your site?

So perhaps your site has lost it's PR.

Yes, I did consider that, but the strange thing is that we never did have a PR in the Google dir. If it went from 4 to zero I would understand but it was never at 4.

Hmm. The only other reasons I can think of are multiple home pages... /index.htm and /index.html or a www/non-www issue.

The directory dont update that often, but also the toolbar is only updated every 3 month, thats a little better then the directory.

I did check our listing and it is 100% correct, and then I click on it I go directly to the PR4 home page.

Yep, just wait until the next update of the Directory. I'm in exactly the same situation.

According to the following website it's been 52 days since the last GDPR update so hopefully it's coming soon:
