I am wanting to use the old site www.samplesite.tld to effect in a good way the new site www.samplesite#2.tld in a good way.

The old site was getting crawled weekly and had over 5400 top ten keywords in a certain field and dominated that industry. Now its pointing to a webiste and that webiste ranks #1 but with the current www.samplesite.tld name as the url but the content of the forwarded url.

How can I do the following:

#1 forward the search engines like google, msn, yahoo etc to this new site, using this old site.
#2 perhaps influence the new site with this old sites pr rating, and

Should I send this old site url to the sitemap of the new site to allow the bots to search the new sites easier completely?

Also the old site was taken down due to legal issues and should not be directly related like a simple forward to the new site. Even though the new site has nothing to do with the old site it could cause problems that dont need to be explored.

Was i clear enough?
