How to Spot a Manual Removal?

Grey PR bar, URL search doesn't return anything.

Hi.

One of my sites used to be PR1 for a few months. Now i have grey bar and URL search doesn't return anything at all (site is not in google database)

Could it be some kind of penalty, or is it manual removal?

Jessica, have you see this thread? [webmasterworld.com...] . You may want to ask that there if you feel the update doesn't explain it.

If your site has been removed, it could be due to the "Bourbon update", but unfortunately there's really no sure way of knowing.
