Google finds words including accented letters

Enter widgéts and you get widgets, too

Anybody noticed this? Not really important for English language content, but is very much welcome here in Europe.

Had trouble finding much info about München? Now simply enter Munchen and you get Munchen, München and even Műnchen results.

With quick glances at Webmastersworld and at Google I couldn't find any reference to this feature.
