Google Recognition?

I have a new site, smaller than my others.

Doesn't seem to make it on google search engine. Follows all the google recommended guidlines about sites, content, titles, and keywords.

In the usage logs, I see these every day.

GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.1" 404 216 "-" "Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)
GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 10770 "-" "Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)
GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.1" 404 216 "-" "Mediapartners-Google/2.1

Is google ignoring me? Have I been disqualified? I still have no recognition from google.

It can be anything which affetcts this matter.

From your hosting IP range to anything I mean the reason.

I've had the same situation with one of my websites but after a month everthing has gon all right.

Wait and see, all I can say you without any more information. If you give me the URL I can be more help to you.

Why is "404" showing for your robots.txt file? That means it's not there, since 404 means the page or doc is not found. Are you sure you have the robots.txt file spelled exactly like that and it's in your root directory?
