I thought of the same. Google is not always best, but do we know everything?
Sometimes, I think of a world dictator. He has a lot of satellites in geostationary orbit, one above my house.
I write something on his WeBLOG that he does not like. He light his laserpistol, and

is history, neither archived nor indexed.
GoogleBOT don't follow me. Now I am even more paranoid.
What about "Canadian lottery scam" and "the closer"
Does he need maps?
I only ask.

It was a digression. Saw 60 minutes on Norwegian TV at the sime time I wrote here.
Interesting that it is shown on Norwegian TV and you have not heard about it in Canada.
It was about scam, telephone scam. He (they) may need detailed maps, to locate isolated eras where people are not aware of it.

He he - I dont know - I can see my house (you can see cars too - well on the road - not on the driveway so well)
Some Cities are mapped to a higher level than others.
Looks like it was taken last summer 2003 for my area (Guessing by stage of building works nearby)
The UK views are not so good, but you can zoom in to see a great overhead view of the Vatican.
If you zoom out so that you can see the whole continent, you'll see gray and other color squares. Those are the areas that have detailed views. I guess they are working on coverting the whole continent, but just not there yet.

Make it simple, as simple as possible, but no simpler.
Could just be me though.
(Very surprised how many people have got pools near where I live - Ok Weather is generally better in my part of the UK - but not really outside swimming pool conditions.)
He he - the things you learn - also very intresing what parts of the world have high resolution images. (EG Not just big US/UK/Euro Cities)

Has anyone figured out how to control the map generation? For me, the prime needs are to pass longitude and latitude along with a zoom factor. Showing multiple locations on a map would also be very nice, but not necessary.
Hopefully someone out there has been playing with it.
ll=....parameter holds long and latt in decimal notation for the current location.
...?ll=-22.217920,-43.703613
As an alternative you can enter long and latt in the search box and it will find and point out the location with a balloon. Said that you can just substitute search string.
...?q=-22.971983,-43.182707&spn=1.530098,2.378540
I think
spnparameter tells the zoom level, but I am not sure how.
1. Real time movie / map.
2. Infrared movie / map.
Money will speak as usual.

Busniess as usual.
