Lots of pages go 'supplemental' for perceived duplicate content. -Larry
>>My site was re-included after the last update.<<
The subject description of your post says “All indexed pages are SR after reinclusion”, so I assume you actually have had some success getting re-indexed after applying for a re-inclusion request? This is ground breaking news since everyone else here who has applied for a re-inclusion request simple gets an automated and meaningless response back from Google.
So then, please share with us the following so that we may get our sites back into Google again:
1. Did you actually apply for a re-inclusion request?
2. Where or how did you apply for a re-inclusion request? Did you use an email address or a form?
3. Did you get a real personalized or an automated reply after applying for a re-inclusion request?
4. How long did it take for you site to get back into the index after filing a re-inclusion request?
Thanks!
After cleaning up the mess I had made (what caused my initial problems with Google - I believe, anyway - was that I changed domain names without setting up a 301 on the old one), I submitted a reinclusion request about a couple of months ago.
I got the standard automated responses after firing off a couple of emails to Google. I didn't believe anything would ever come of it, and had all but given up hope. Then, a little over a week ago, Google started hitting my site hard and heavy. Basically the whole site was crawled and indexed within a few short days where G's spider had been absent for months.
I'm really not sure if it was my actual reinclusion request that brought Google back. Googleguy had said in post around here somewhere that thousands of websites had been reincluded with the recent update, and it was about that time that my site started getting crawled again.
But with all the pages showing as supplemental results except a couple, I'm still not entirely sure if I'm 100% back in Google's good graces.
Any other things you wish to say about your site should be a reply to that email or include the tracking number so the right person sees it and it will not be scattered around to others who know nothing of your site.
This is not word for word but you can read it for yourself.
