Fix mobile usability issues found in webmaster tools

Maybe this has been posted before, but canīt see it.
Got this message in my webmaster tool.
Does anybody know what this will mean in serp, and when the change will take place?

Google systems have tested 561 pages from your site and found that 100% of them have critical mobile usability errors. The errors on these 561 pages severely affect how mobile users are able to experience your website. These pages will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users.

If rely on mobile searches for your business, it's time to take action on your site. Mid-April mobile search results are going to change big time. If you are focused on desktops, it should not shake you much at all.

Thanks, I have not done it before due to that the site works good, and is very big....
Not sure what is the best, try to do the css responsive or maybe the quickest and easiest is to do movile html.
A bit afraid of dupe content having one site for desktop and one for movile.
