I have a strange obervation. At around 12.30pm I.S.T., Google was showing 502 error in India!

I was surprised, did this happen anywhere else also? What was that?

Google is generally extremely slow these days.

Server errors do happen from time to time. Most people will see one every year or two, out of the billions of queries that are served daily.

AdSense has not updated for at least 1 hour 15 minutes.

gmail is back but i lost all emails which arrived during server down time.

The lost mail is slowly coming in.
Give it a little time.
Also check your SPAM folder as some of our mail is getting in there.

No update for Adsense in 4 hours but Google SE referrals seem about normal and Adsense ads appear on my pages ok.
