www and non www web site

I have http://mydomain.com and...

[bwprice]

[mydomain.com...] for my web site.

Can I be penalized by Google as having 2 web sites and if so is there a way for me to get around this?

When I search Google the [mydomain.com...] has 6,000 links for:

"Find web pages that contain the term "quitsmokingsupport.com/"

The [mydomain.com...] has 815 links for

"Find web pages that contain the term "www.quitsmokingsupport.com/"
