Google Bot Hits Dropping?

Google bot have been half from past 3 days.

Hello,

I would like to know, if any instance is been observed which happened to me.

Google bot was hitting my server with more than 100,000 hits everyday.

But from the past 3 days, its been around 50000-60000 hits.

What may be the cause and would it have any noticeable effect on my site?

I feel that my revenue (Traffic) too is down a bit 3 days from now.

What's the relation between number of visits of Gbot and your traffic? Do you yourself really think that it's necessary to be crawled every day to stay high in SERPs? I don't. Maybe the bot decided that he crawled enough and now it is time to difest all this data. When he finishes digestion you will be up again. Be patient (I guess this advice is the best one regarding any issues with G).

And one of my sites has been crawled more heavily during last 3 days - it's normal that Googlebot changes it's crawling frequency. Sometimes it depends on changes in your PR, but there are much more factors that have influence on it.
