On a recently launched site (less than a week, but over 300 pages indexed) I am noticing that 90%+ of the referrals from Google are from .ca, .co.mx, .de etc.. rather than .com - is this normal... I've never seen this before - normally .com outperforms all others by a long shot.
The language of the site is english, so I'm at a loss. Do they "test" new sites on country specifics before putting them on .com? Or could it be that country specifics are immune to the "Sandbox" effect?
