New Google Toolbar - PR IS GONE

No more PageRank displayed

Is now showing a new google toolbar with new features:

- SpellCheck
- WordTranslator
- AutoLink

But no more PageRank

[google.com...] shows PageRank as a feature.

Interesting, if you go to Google, click on more and look at all Google offers when you click on toolbar it doesn't mention the page rank. I am wondering it they want to phase out that feature.

I just noticed that my pagerank has dropped to an all time low. A page that has always be at least a 6 and at times a 7 is now a 5. This affects all the deeper pages as well. Yet all key words seem to do as well as ever in the serps.

I was on vacation for a bit so maybe this happened earlier but has anyone noticed an overall devaluing of PR or is it just my site doing poorly?

I think since PageRank fever has diminished they're developing another gizmo to whip up a frenzy.

Address Bar Browse by Name
Browse by Name helps you find a site even when you don’t know its URL. Just type the site name into your browser address bar, and Toolbar will take you there automatically. For instance, try typing "oxford" into the address bar to go directly to the university's home page at www.ox.ac.uk.

How can they put this blatant misinformation on their site. They don't even come close to possessing the ability and/or knowhow to perform this simple feat.

I tried it three times-
1. Went to first result. It was not the business or even site of that name. The business of that name was not returned in the first 1000 results even when quotes are used.
2. Simply showed the results. #1 was not the company of that name. This is the only time of the three that it worked as advertised.
3. Went to search results even though the first result was the business of that name (complete with dmoz and Google directory listing with the proper name).
