Have had a problem since November where my sites page went to URL only in the google serps, not sure whether this was a penalty, duplicate content issue etc but we are now 6 months down the line with no joy.
Originally all my backlinks were pointing to my homepage so presuming there was some kind of penalty of it decided to get some of the backlinks changed to point to various of my internal pages, this has improved things in that more of my pages are appearing with description & titles which I presume is better. The homepage is still listed as URL only though. At the last PR update my homepage went from PR6 to PR0 but some of the pages which inbound links have some PR.
Based on this could there just be a penalty on my homepage as it seems to pick up other pages OK or is it something else. Any thoughts appreciated
