Am I on a bad IP block? Not in Google

I'm not on a dedicated IP can that be hurting me?

Hey Everyone,

So for a few months now I can't seem to get my index page to even show up in Googles Index. I have some strong authoratative high PR sites linking to me. The site has tons of great content. I'm a very good white hat SEO. I've submited the site to google. The history of the domain is clean. Just can't figure this out at all....

I just noticed that we are not on a dedicated IP and I'm wondering if we may just be on a bad IP block. Could this be the problem?

I've noticed that all my competition that is doing well in google is on a dedicated IP.

Just curious to get your thoughts on this.

You can track down a few other sites on your IP and see if they rank well for anything...

Thanks for the info. I've looked around WHois a bit and haven't noticed anything odd with the others on my IP block.

Any other reason I would not be indexed in google. I just am at a loss.

I just am at a loss.

Maybe you cut some Google employee off in traffic and he removed you from the index.

I hope I didn't cut a google employee off in traffic: ) So I submited my site about 1 1/2 months ago for the second time. Still nothing.

I've checked my logs and it doesn't look like Google is hitting my site. I've checked for all the IP's that googles bot is under and still nothing. I checked again and I have about 10 sites linking back to me that are PR4-6.

Sounds to me like an IP block. Try using bruceclays's SEO tech tips tool to detect blacklisted sites on that IP.
