Google using redirect for click tracking?

I thought google directly linked to sites in the search results.

Then I did a search for:
webdav windows apache redirect carefully

and noticed that all of the links went to google and were redirected to the non-google sites.

I checked some searches I regularly do and saw regular links still.

Any thoughts?

Google has clicked tracked via js for 2 years.
They have specifically url redirect tracked for testing puposes going back 5 years.
