Using the inurl: search I've identified some sites linking via 302's.
Some of these link straight through to our site and use the same title and description as our site, I presume these are the bad ones? Could someone confirm this please?
Others link straight through to our site but use their own titles and descriptions; are these a problem as well? Or can I safely leave these as they are?
Then, as to how I get rid of the bad ones, apart from contacting the sites concerned to ask for removal (which, as some were unsolicted links on 'scraper' type sites I fear will not be totally sucessful), is my only option Google's removal tool? Or is the matter now being delt with by Google, as suggested by GG's comments (e.g. message 105 in "Google's 302 Redirect Problem" thread, or have I misunderstood what he's saying there?).
I'm very reluctant (scared!) to use the removal tool in view of all the problems other people seem to be having with it and incase I get it wrong and end up with my own site removed for 6 months!
