title and description showing from 2003

I was looking through my sites in google as I do quite often and today I noticed something odd. Today, my titles and description for a section of one of my sites has reverted back to a title and description from September 2003! Im not talking about the cache part, I am talking about the actual title and description that shows up in the search results. I remember back in august/september 2003 I did a major overhall of that site and that was the last month that those titles were used. I thought this was funny and decided to share it with you.

I have just noticed title tags showing more then 64 characters some up to 70 -- is this new?

If those pages (with information from 2003) are marked as a Supplemental Result then it is quite possible.

I have seen some that have a title and description even older than that, some back as far as late 1999.

You may find that the title and description is different and not marked as supplemental for some other search queries.
