Does changing IP address occasionally affect page rank

HELP! I need a quick answer. I read a 2004 thread that said that frequently changing IP address can affect Google page rank.

My website host is having some false positive problems and has suggesting giving my site a new IP address as an alternative to waiting for them to work out a solution to the problem.

I have very high Google page rank and don't want to loose it.

Should I have them change the IP address or wait?
