I was going to perform a search on Google today when I noticed a line on their home page: "New! Get live stock quotes. Search on any ticker symbol (e.g. INDU)". I did a search for "XOM", which is the symbol for ExxonMobile. The search produced a stock quote for ExxonMobile, as expected, and also a little chart graphic. I clicked on the chart graphic and then something interesting happened.

What I got was a frameset with Google's logo in the top frame and some tabs. The tabs are links to Yahoo Finance, Fool.com, MSN MoneyCentral and Clearstation. Note that the URLs to these links actually reload the frameset with content from the linked company in the bottom frame.

I find it interesting that Google is framing Yahoo (and MSN) content.
