One of my site's home page is out of Google index for a week. A search for exact url shows it is not indexed. A search for company name bring a page "www.mysite.com/index.aspx?sourceid=#*$!", which is a tracking url for one of the campaigns. My best guess is Google thought these two pages are the same and picked this one and drop our home page. Has anyone here had the same problem before? would a 301 redirect fix the problem?

And is the URL "www.mysite.com/index.aspx?sourceid=#*$!" showing the same content as your home page? If so, that's clearly the reason. Your campaign could give better PageRank to the tracking URL, causing the problem.
Redirecting it with 301 is the right solution, but it may take days to be corrected by Google. Make sure that wrong link is placed on frequently spidered page, so the redirect will be crawled shortly.
