How to get listed in Google News

My site is relevant but Google News completely ignores it

I work for an important newspaper in Argentina. There are localized Google News spanish sites for Argentina, Chile, Spain. I have tried to get my site crawled and listed, with no success.

I have submitted/suggested the Url, I have contacted Google News support, I have optimized url structure and site design, I have researched extensively how the whole Google News algorithm work, I sent mails to Google News creator, I've tried to reach Google News managers on the phone, but none of them worked. I'm ready to hire a consultant if he/she can help.

This is not an issue of performing well or bad, my problem is not to get listed at all.

Any hint about how to reach Google News Manager will also help. I've tried by email, phone and fax, but nobody responds. The newspaper I'm talking about is very important not only in Argentina, but also one of the biggest sites in spanish. It's no good for Google to not include at less one single reference from it. Please Googleguy help me.
