I see Google have added a link called - Information about today's Sumatra earthquake - to their .com homepage. Is everyone else seeing this.

Is this the start of making Google a public information service?

It reminds me of American TV broadcasters, where sometimes you get information about Hurricanes blocking what would otherwise be a good TV picture!

I wonder if they have a 4 minute warning lined up in case of a nuclear attack like the main broadcasters used to do?
